The new exhibition was inaugurated in February 2009 and extended in November 2014, thanks to the financial contribution of the CA.RI.PA.RO. Foundation, the Veneto Region and the Province of Padua.
The exposed archaeological materials come from the centurial territory; the collection of the Museum has been recently expanded thanks to the acquisition of new objects which have been found during some excavations in the territory of Borgoricco, in collaboration with the Superintendence for the Archaeological Heritage of Veneto and financed by some private citizens, by the Municipality of Borgoricco and the Veneto Region.
Some of these items are of particular importance, due to their quality, such as bronze strings; other are considerable because of their uniqueness, such as the beautiful terracotta architectural slabs, which are embellished with plant motifs.
